Cookie policy

Last updated August 1, 2026

Short version: a few cookies keep you signed in to your kitchen, and a few optional ones tell us which pages actually help families cook at home. Nothing is sold, and you can change your mind whenever you like.

Essential cookies

These always run, because the app cannot work without them. They keep your session active, remember which household you are signed in to, and protect forms against abuse.

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in to your Kitchen-CEO account.
  • Household cookie — remembers which shared pantry you are viewing.
  • Security cookie — protects sign-in and billing forms.

Optional analytics cookies

If you accept all cookies, we record anonymous page views and button clicks so we can see which features help people cook at home more often. We never link this to your pantry contents, receipts, or recipes.

  • Which marketing pages people arrive on and where they leave.
  • Whether onboarding steps are completed or abandoned.
  • Rough device type and country, never a precise location.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.
  • We do not use advertising cookies that follow you to other sites.
  • We do not read your receipt photos or pantry items for analytics.

Changing your choice

Your choice is stored on your own device. To change it, clear this site's stored data in your browser settings and the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies entirely — the app will still work, but you may be asked to sign in more often.
